Reforms in Education

Sir,
The  Government schools in the State are passing through a difficult phase. The enrollment is drastically falling and pass percentage of candidates attending these institutes is low. If things do not improve quickly the schools will lose their sheen, and would remain mere structures. Some measures as listed below need to be taken.
There is need to introduce uniform books and uniform syllabus in all Govt and private schools.
There should be strict monitoring of schools by a team of honest people.
The system of examination on the pattern(ul,u2), either be stopped or implemented strictly. Most amusing aspect of CCE is that teachers/lecturers are just preparing award rolls for U1 and U2 keeping in mind different criteria like caste, sub castes, relation with students and tuition etc. violating the guidelines of CCE has become a norm. It is pertinent to mention here that the role of DIET is not very encouraging. It makes mockery of middle standard examination.
Action be taken against all the teachers who are running their private schools and who are teaching in private schools.
At last, only honest attempts can improve things in Govt schools.
Yours etc…
