UDHAMPUR, May 27: Five- day “Refresher/Orientation Course for the officers/officials of Crime Branch” concluded today at SKPA.
Ten officers/officials from Crime Branch, J&K participated in the training programme. There were wide range deliberations on the working of Crime Branch which included the concept of FIR, Evidentiary value, Investigation under CrPC, concept of Financial literacy, Bank frauds, Income tax frauds, Use of SAECK (Sexual Assault Evidence Collection Kit) & concept of Social Defence.
Eminent speakers, including Suraj Singh (Dy SP-Retd), Imran Malik, Dy SP EOW Jammu; Jagpal Sharma, Dy SP I/C NAFIS, SCRB Jammu; Inspr Bittu Choudhary, SCW Jammu; Inspr Raghu Raj Singh, DPO Reasi and Nayeem Abass Hamdani, Cyber Consultant, delivered lectures on different topics.
On conclusion of the course, a valediction function was organized in the Academy wherein SSP Rajinder Kumar Gupta, Dy Director (Indoor) SKPA, was the chief guest. In his valedictory address, he laid stress upon the participants to adopt the technology and latest investigation skills while investigating any criminal cases. He also emphasized upon the participants to share knowledge gain during the training programme with the fellow Police personnel.
The valediction function was also attended by faculty of SKPA. The course was coordinated by Inspr Sandeep Mahajan, who was assisted by HC Randeep Singh.
