JAMMU, Sept 21: A three day regional training camp for Annual Survey on Unincorporated Sector Enterprises (ASUSE) 2022, being organized by Regional Office of National Statistical Office (NSO) Field Operations Division (FOD), Union Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, commenced today.
The training is being attended by officers and field staff of NSO (FOD) Regional Office Jammu and Sub-Regional Office, Udhampur.
The training was inaugurated by Kishore Kumar, Deputy Director General NSO FOD and he highlighted the role of NSO in developing a sound statistical database for use by planners and policy makers, researchers and various other agencies at national and international level and outlined in detail the significance of present survey.
Kumar also requested the people of J&K to cooperate with Field Officers/Officials of NSO FOD and provide correct and reliable information.
In welcome address Rajesh Kumar, Deputy Director NSO (FOD), Regional Office Jammu gave brief detail about NSO survey carried out by the field officials of NSO field staff.
He also highlighted the importance of these surveys for nation building.
The training is being conducted by Rajesh Kumar, Deputy Director and P.S Jamwal, Senior Statistical Officers of NSO (FOD).
