JAMMU, Apr 19:  Seeking attention of Prime Minister towards the highest ever unemployment in JK UT, chief spokesperson JKPCC, Ravinder Sharma (Ex-MLC) has demanded immediate regularization of daily wagers, need based, casual workers besides framing of appropriate uniform regularization policy for all temporary, adhoc and contractual employees in different departments.
Lashing out at the present dispensation controlled by BJP, JKPCC chief spokesperson has questioned the ruling party over the injustice being meted out with the daily wagers, day in and day out, under this regime. Instead of fulfilling the promise made to the daily wagers, the BJP is witnessing  the  injustice with them, as mute spectator, after getting huge mandate.
He asked BJP to ensure that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi announces a relief package for all daily wagers, need based, casual workers and the temporary, adhoc and contractual employees in Jammu and Kashmir, during his visit on April 24, besides  announcing  a big employment package for the unemployed youth apart from PoJK DPs, refugees and Kashmiri migrants and border residents of Jammu and Kashmir.
The unemployment rate in J&K is second highest in the country and highest so far crossing 25 percent. The highly educated youth who are PhD, M.Phil, PG, Graduates besides professional and technocrats are feeling frustrated due to lack of job opportunities both in Government and private sectors.
The displaced people, refugees of 1947, 1965 and 1971, West Pakistan refugees, Kashmiri migrants besides others migrants in Jammu and border residents deserve major package and have hopes on PM’s visit, he added.
