JAMMU, Sept 4: President of Jammu West Assembly Movement, Sunil Dimple has demanded special financial package for the construction of Chenab Water Supply Project from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and regularization of the daily wagers before Assembly elections.
Addressing media persons, Sunil Dimple strongly criticized the Coalition Government and the PHE ministry for not constructing Chenab Water Supply project as Jammu city was reeling under acute water scarcity with particular reference to Jammu West constituency. He demanded that Jammuites be provided free of cost drinking water supply.
He alleged all the defunct 30 to 40 years old pipes which are overloaded with the connections should be immediately replaced.
Dimple alleged that all the funds allotted to PHE Department have been lavishly swindled by the X-Ens, AEEs, and the officers and no work done by the department was visible on the ground.
Dimple extended support to the PHE and daily wagers of all the departments including PDD, PHE, PWD, JMC, Forest, Medical, Education.
