Rehabilitate migrants in Valley: Apni Party

JAMMU, June 16: Apni Party has strongly advocated for rehabilitation of displaced Pandits in Kashmir Valley.
State coordinator of party for Displaced Kashmir Pandits for Jammu, Vinod Pandita along with Sanjay Dhar coordinator, Kashmir during their separate meetings in Buta Nagar and Muthi migrant camps in Jammu raised the issue.
They listened to the problems faced by the camp inmates due to pandemic and heat wave of Summer so that the same could be taken up with the authorities for redressal.
Vinod Pandita and Sanjay Dhar, said they held a meeting with Migrant Welfare Committee, Muthi headed by Anil Kumar Bhan, its president, M.K.Pandita, senior vice president, Kiran Ji Dassi, general secretary, Kuldeep Kisroo, co- general secretary and others.
Vinod Pandita while addressing said that the problems listed by the Muthi Welfare Committee are quite genuine and appealed to the Relief Commissioner to resolve these issues in a time bound period.
He also assured the Welfare Committee that he would take up these genuine issues with the party senior leadership including its general secretary Vijay Bakaya on whose instructions they had visited the camps as well as with concerned authorities for their disposal very shortly.
Sanjay Dhar, said that Government needs to take the problems of displaced Kashmiri migrants living in exile for more than 30 years seriously and resolve them forthwith.
He also appealed that the Government must ensure the rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits back in the Valley in a time bound period to end their exile that has made their lives miserable and pathetic on every front.
