JAMMU, Aug 24: The State Government has ordered constitution of an Empowered Committee for Implementation of the Rehabilitation and Resettlement (R&R) Plan for the project affected families of Keeru Hydro Electric Project (624 MW) in District Kishtwar.
Headed by Chief Secretary as the Chairman, the 16-member Empowered Committee shall be comprising of Administrative Secretaries of PDD, Finance Department, Planning, Development & Monitoring Department, Housing & Urban Development Department, Public Works (R&B) Department, Revenue Department, Department of Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction, RDD and Panchayti Raj, PHE, I&FC Department, Divisional Commissioner Jammu, MD SPDC, Chief Engineer EM&RE Jammu, DC Kishtwar, and Special invitee/experts as decided by the Chairman.
