JAMMU, May 8: The general body meeting of all J&K Rehbar-e-Taleem teachers under SSA was held here today under the leadership of Younis Rahi, senior leader of the Forum.
After the meeting, ReT teachers held a protest demonstration and raised slogans against the Education Department for not releasing the salary of teachers under SSA from last 7-8 months in the State.
The regularized Rehbar-e-Taleem teachers are living very tough and worst life without salary as these teachers are only dependent on monthly salary and they have no other source of income, protesters alleged.
On the occasion, zonal president of the forum, Joginder Dingra appealed the Chief Minister to intervene in this matter and look after the issue personally.
Others present on the occasion were Aslam, Sikander, Ragubir Lal,Vijay Kumar, Manzoor Malik, Gulzar, Joginder, Dinesh, Rashpal Singh, Rakesh Kumar and many zonal presidents of Jammu province.
