Rehman demands Governor’s rule in J&K

JAMMU, Apr 22: Veteran politician and Ex MP,  Sheikh Abdul  Rehman   has expressed great shock and anguish over the  deteriorating political as also law and order situation in the Valley and said that  more serious is the silence of Central and State Govt  over the sufferings and  killings of the innocent civilians.
In a statement, Rehman said that the BJP-PDP Government has lost control over the ground situation while  administration has been completely paralyzed. Consequently problems of people are multiplying manifold and intolerance against Kashmiri students and business houses at national level has posed a serious threat to the basic democratic system in the country, he added and further said that  irresponsible statements of BJP leaders were  aggravating the situation.
Rehman said that in view of breakdown of  governing fabric in the State, coupled with  internal bickering between BJP and PDP,  State Assembly should be dissolved and Governor’s rule should be imposed for  fresh elections in the State.
