JAMMU, Mar 5: BJP displaced district organized a Jan Samparak Yatra under the leadership of its president Chand Ji Bhat at Jagti township today.
The rally was arranged by Tika Lal Taploo Mandal president Sunil Bhat. MLC Surinder Ambardar was the chief guest on the occasion who in his address said that it is unfortunate that the rejected politicians speak the language of separatists.
Speaking on the occasion, Chand Ji Bhat said that BJP is committed to honourable and dignified return of migrants to Valley and demanded that the resolutions passed by State Legislature be implemented in this regard be implemented in letter and spirit.
P L Dhar general secretary highlighted the problems being faced by the displaced people. J L Pandit vice president asked the people not to pay heed to forces inimical to peace and security of the country.
Purnima Sharma BJP Mahila Morcha president was the special guest on the occasion. She highlighted various projects and schemes launched by BJP.
B B Gosani, Dr A K Koul, Ramesh Koul, A K Sher and Vineet Raina participated in the yatra.
