KISHTWAR, Nov 14: Alleging negligence of doctors, the relatives of a patient lodged protest in District Hospital here after a dead baby was delivered.
As per reports, a lady namely Kamlesh Devi, wife of Sandeep Kumar of Kibber Nallah Dachaan delivered a dead baby due to alleged negligence of the doctors.
After getting new about delivery of dead baby, the relatives of the patient assembled in the compound of District Hospital here and held protest. They raised slogans against the hospital authorities.
“Due to alleged negligence of the doctor, our patient delivered a dead baby”, the protestors said and demanded immediate action against the doctors involved.
Later, Medical Superintendent (MS) District Hospital Kishtwar Dr Parvez Wani constituted a three member enquiry committee which has been asked to submit report in five days. Dr Ravinder Singh has been appointed as Chairman of the committee, while Dr Sham Lal and Dr Salma Beigh as members.
