Release flour quota of migrants

JAMMU, Jan 27: The representative of Relief holders and over-aged youth, Sunil Pandita has expressed grave concern over the suspending of flour quota of migrants for last over five months and demanded same be released before the Maha Shivratri festival falling in next month.
In a statement issued here, today he said that the migrant relief holders who are totally dependent on cash doles from Government are unable to purchase the flour from market on high rates. He said that relief holders have been put to many hardships after stopping of flour quota by the Government.
He also demanded that the ration for month of February be released prior to Maha Shivratri festival.
Pandita, while expressing concern over plight of package employees demanded that their salaries be released immediately so that they can’t face problems in celebrating the holy festival next month. He said the Shivratri being one of the sacred festivals of Kashmiri Pandits hence the salaries of the package employees as well as reserved category employees be released prior to festival so that they can celebrate the festival with their families with happiness and charm.
