Rly Budget to transform lives of people

NEW DELHI, Mar 15: Member Parliament from Jammu-Poonch and senior BJP leader Jugal Kishore Sharma today said that Railways Budget will transform the lives of people in the country and rapid extension of Railways has increased pace of development in far flung areas.
While speaking on the Motion of Thanks in the Lok Sabha today, Jugal thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for allotting a huge amount of Rs 140367.13 crores for the development of Railways in the country.
He said Railways have contributed a lot during Covid times for connecting India and providing ration and food material to every corner of the India without any delay so that all people get free ration under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Ann Yojana.
Jugal Kishore also thanked Finance Minister for making provision of funds for running 400 new `Vande Bharat’ trains all over the country and for implementing `Pradhan Mantri Gati Shakti’ master plan so that developing India can achieve targets to the great heights. He also thanked Railway Minister for double lanning of railway lines to expedite the development of the Nation.
While expressing gratitude to bring Jammu Railway Station in Class “A” category and for its development as modular railway station and also double lanning of Railway line from Jallandhar to Jammu, Jugal requested that survey for laying of Jammu to Rajouri and Poonch railway line has been completed and provision of funds should be made available soon for laying this new railway line. He said that demand for construction of Rail over bridges at Manwal Railway Station, over bridge at Bajalta station in district Jammu besides Gurha Slathia and Kalibari in Samba and Kathua is very genuine demand and the same should be constructed soon.
Jugal said Railway officials have personally visited Manwal Railway Station for raising of Platform but its work has not yet started. He also urged for stoppage of Hemkund Express train at Manwal Railway Station and demanded that approach road to Manwal Railway Station should be shifted to UT administration for its upgradation so that its work could be executed at the earliest.
