Release pending installments of employees: NMC

JAMMU, Dec 28: National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) today appealed the Chief Secretary to release pending installments in favour of the State Government employees, as the election processes is over and the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) has been lifted in Jammu and Kashmir.
Talking to media persons here today, NMC president Subash Shastri said that 17% DA is due from January and July. He appealed the Government to strictly implement CP Fund scheme in all departments of the State Government, declare 7th Pay Commission as National Pay Commission and amend SRO 64.
Shastri asked the State Government not to test the patience of the employees, as they have suffered a lot.
The NMC president said that who so ever make Government in the State should focus on the regularization of the services of 62 thousand causal/seasonal laborers/adhoc and contractual employees of the State Government on the priority basis.
While pleading the cause of these poor daily rated workers, Shastri said that the causal labourers had lot of resentment for they have not been regularized despite lots of promises and assurances.
Shastri urged upon the upcoming Government to release all pending wages of causal labourers without any further delay.
