JAMMU, Oct 8: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today demanded the LG administration to immediately release salary of Jammu and Kashmir Project Construction Corporation (JKPCC) employees and increase the wages of daily rated workers as per UT/Central Government norms.
Addressing a press conference here today, state spokesperson of AAP, Partap Singh Jamwal lambasted the management of JKPCC and also supported the demand of releasing the salary of JKPCC employees.
Jamwal said that AAP is concerned over the genuine demands of JKPCC employees and daily rated workers. He alleged that they are protesting for last more than one month but the concerned Managing Director and LG administration are least bothered about the release of salary of the employees.
The AAP leader said that due to non-release of salaries, the families of these JKPCC employees were facing starvation. He said that they are unable to pay school fee of their children and even facing hardships to procure medicines of their daily need.
He demanded to the LG administration to immediately release the salary and increase the wages of the daily rated workers as per UT/Central Government norms.
