Reliance India visits KU

SRINAGAR, Feb 23: A high level HR team from Reliance India visited Centre for Career Planning and Counseling (CCPC) University of Kashmir to offer training and employment opportunities for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir.
The company intends to train Graduates for a period of three months and based on their performance trained Graduates would be considered then for placement.
While speaking on the occasion Prof Khurshid I Andrabi, Vice Chancellor, University of Kashmir, said that with rapid developments in the global business environment, there is a need for highly productive workforce, so graduates entering job market must possess the required skill sets for making them highly productive once employed. He advised the students to work with attentiveness, strength and honesty so that the corporates get attracted and recruit more people from the valley.
Prof Farooq A Khan, Director CCPC KU said that employability of graduates has emerged as a serious issue and CCPC has initiated several measures to develop a strong interface with the industry for addressing the issue of unemployment among the youth of Jammu & Kashmir.
