Relief to flood victims

Sir,
The recent floods in the whole of State have caused unprecedented loss – both of men and material. More than 125 people as reported in media perished in these floods.
These devastating floods caused extensive damage to road network. Many road and bridges were washed away. Around 300 villages got submerged in these floods. The damage caused is beyond description.
Now, the daunting task before the Government and the people is rehabilitation of affected people. The Government should without losing time constitute a special cell for this purpose. The cell would assess the damage done to private and public property and would suggest relief measures for quick implementation.
The Government must harness all its resources so that these affected people could restart their lives.
Yours etc…
