JAMMU, Oct 30: A meeting of all relief holders of Jagti township and over-aged youth was held under the leadership of R N Raina today at Jagti.
The meeting passed a resolution demanding permanent rehabilitation of displaced Pandits, enhancement of cash relief from Rs 2500 per soul per month keeping in view the price hike.
The meeting warned that in case the demand was not settled within one week all the relief holders and over aged youth with their families will launch agitation.
The meeting urged both Union as well as State Government to solve the burning demands of the displaced people.
The meeting among others was addressed by Sanjay Kumar, Sunil Pandita, Rajinder Dhar, Raj Nath, Kundan Ji, Chaman Lal Raina, Yougesh Ji, Bhushan Koul, Kuldeep Razdan, Ravinder Pandita etc.
