Relief holders continue dharna at Jagti, RC ‘s Office

JAMMU, Sept 8: The indefinite fast of displaced relief holders continues at Jagti township today with Ajay Raina, Sunil Pandita and Rajinder Pandita continuing on fast.
To support the fasting relief holders two more youth resorted to 24 hour chain hunger strike. They included Satish Thaploo and Sonu Kumar
The dharna at Jagti was also joined by Swami Kumar Ji and AIKS representative Aryan Ramesh. They extended full support to relief holders and urged the Government to settle the issue without further delay in view of the hardships faced by the relief holders.
The dharna by relief holders also continued in front of Relief organization and the protest was joined by the inmates of Buta Nagar, Muthi and Purkoo TRTs.
Meanwhile Ajay Bhat has welcomed the efforts made by Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation Minister, Raman Bhalla who has taken personnel interest in settling the issue.
He expressed the hope that the Central Government will take due cognizance of the letter written by Mr Bhalla and accord sanction to enhancement of relief at an earliest.
However he said the hunger strike will continue till the demand is settled.
