JAMMU, July 14: All Kashmiri Migrant Relief Holders Jagti Nagrota in a meeting today under the chairmanship of Ajay Bhat highlighted various problems of the Kashmiri migrants in general and relief holders in particular.
The meeting demanded that the relief holders by given compensation at rate of Rs five lakh per year. It demanded one time compensation and permanent rehabilitation of relief holders by taking them into confidence.
It also demanded that a compensation of Rs 50 lakh be paid to over aged youth, restoration of encroached property, payment of Relief at the rate of Rs 400 per soul per day and release of list of selected candidates under PM’s job package who have already applied for the same.
M K Rina, Kundan Raina, Behari Lal, Sunil Raina, Rajinder Pandit, M L Ganjoo, O N Moti and others were present in the meeting.
