JAMMU, Sept 24: Relief holders and over aged youth in a meeting here today urged the Government to take immediate steps in settling the long pending demand of relief holders in view of the problems being faced by them.
Addressing a meeting of the relief holders ex -sarpanch Nana Ji expressed the hope that the State Government will take up the case with Centre vigorously as assured by Revenue Minister Raman Bhalla and Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, R K Pandita.The meeting however expressed confidence over the Government’s decision to construct more quarters at Purkhoo, shopping complex at Jagti and handing over of water supply of Jagti township to PHE and said this will ease the problems of the displaced people to a great extent.
It also demanded that immediate steps be taken for re- advertisement of remaining 3000 posts under PM’s package.
