JAMMU, Dec 28: All Kashmiri Migrant Relief Holders Organization (AKMRHO) held a meeting under the chairmanship of its President Ajay Bhat for compensation and enhancement of relief.
The participants discussed and appealed to State Government and Government of India that cash assistance should be enhanced to the tune of Rs 400 per day per soul and compensation of Rs 50 lakh should be given to over-aged Kashmiri migrant relief holders.
They said that genuine relief holders have been put in dustbin by having of fake relief cards, until there will not be a CBI probe on such relief cards till then there should be no enhancement of cash assistance to Kashmiri migrants, which is a heavy loss to the Government as well as genuine Relief Holders. There should be a citizen charter at Relief Organization office, they added.
The compensation may be given to genuine over-aged Kashmiri migrants, he said, adding that bio-data forms will be released very soon of over-aged relief holders so that list could be send to Government of India with proof of Aadhar Card.
In the meeting, the participants also demanded that there should be complete CBI probe in Relief Organization and relief cards.
