JAMMU, Oct 24: The relief holders of Jagti township in its meeting today held under the leadership of Ajay Bhat has decided to suspend the dharna to wait for the outcome of the reported meeting being held by Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah with Union Government on the enhancement of cash relief on October 29.
The meeting decided that the relief holders will wait till October 29 and suspend the dharna till then. It also made an appeal to all the displaced Pandit organisations to support the ongoing struggle of relief holders regarding the enhancement of cash relief and other issues of Kashmiri Pandits.
The meting appealed all relief holders of other camps and non camp localities as well as leaders of KP organizations to participate in joint meeting at Jagti dharna venue on October 31 to take future course of action in case no decision was taken by Government till then.
