HARIDWAR, Nov 10: In a humanitarian response to the earthquake-ravaged regions of Nepal, eight trucks laden with essential supplies and food items were flagged off by Patanjali here today.
The relief material was flagged of under the leadership of Swami Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna.
Speaking on the occasion, Swami Ramdev expressed solidarity with the affected families and emphasized Patanjali’s commitment to standing with those facing the brunt of the calamity.
Drawing on past experiences during natural disasters like the Nepal earthquake and the Kedarnath tragedy, he highlighted Patanjali’s track record of empathetically sharing the pain of the affected.
Acharya Balkrishna also underscored the challenges faced by victims in meeting their daily needs during times of disaster, making Patanjali’s support crucial.
He disclosed that approximately 50 tons of relief materials, encompassing tents, blankets, utensils, flour, rice, pulses, oil, salt, spices, soap, tarpaulin, and more, have been dispatched to aid earthquake victims in Nepal.
This compassionate initiative reflects Patanjali’s dedication to humanitarian efforts, reinforcing its commitment to serving communities in times of crisis.
Pertinent to mention here that Acharaya Balkrishna has personally visited to the earthquake hit areas and interacted with the affected people there.
