Relief provided to fire victim, exgratia sanctioned

SAMBA, Mar 11: Acting promptly district administration Samba provided relief to Anwar Hussain a nomad whose house was burnt in a fire near village Daghore of district Samba yesterday.
The victim lost his six year old son namely Wafat Ali who was trapped in the fire and could not come out. Besides he lost his all belongings as the house was completely destroyed in the fire.
The Deputy Commissioner Samba, Mubark Singh immediately after getting the information deputed Tehsildar Samba Sudershan Kumar and Naib tehsildar, Sardar Mohammed and provided relief of Rs 5000 and free ration for one month to the affected family.
An amount of Rs 1.50 lakh has also been sanctioned as ex-gratia payment for the loss of life, besides a tent and mattresses have also been provided to the family.
It may be recalled that  the house suddenly caught fire at Kote in Samba district yesterday in which the boy, who was sleeping. He was charred to death, while the girl managed to escape unhurt.
