Religious function for peace, national integration held

JAMMU, Mar 13: A religious function for peace and national integration was organised in the premises of Amreshwar Temple at Village Chatha Gujran here, in which large number of people took part.
The atmosphere in and around the premises of the temple was all spiritual and the people around were chanting Gaytri Maha Mantra explanation of which was given by Pujari Birendra Kaith.
On the occasion, Additional Superintendent of Police, Udhampur Mohan Lal Kaith was the chief guest and while speaking he urged the people to dedicate themselves to the service of the society and rid it from social evils.
He exhorted upon the students to work hard in their new fields to brighten their future and bring credit to their families. He assured them of every possible help from his side.
Former MLA Sat Paul Lakhotra, RLKaith, Sarpanch Harjeet Singh, Capt Om Parkash, Capt Kamal Chand, Panch Narayan Dass, besides many others also addressed the gathering.
