UTTAR PRADESH, Aug 3: The work of remodeling of Dadri Yard for connectivity between Dadri and DFCCIL has been completed.
During this work, 3 lines of EDFAC (New Boraki) and two lines of WDFC (New Dadri) were connected to Dadri and all these five lines are bi-directional lines. With the connectivity of EDFC and WDFC, Dadri Junction has become one of the largest junction yards having connectivity with ICD line, NTPC line EDFC, WDFC and IR. With this connectivity, Dadri Yard has become one of the busiest yards facilitating smooth movement of goods trains. Dual Detection DCTC with axle counter has been installed throughout the yard. With the completion of this work, trains coming from Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor (EDFC) and Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC) will be directly taken to Dadri Yard and can also be forwarded. With the completion of this commissioning work, Dadri Yard will act as a junction and will also play an important role in connecting Eastern Freight Corridor and Western Freight Corridor as well as help in making the movement of goods trains more smooth and fast.
