Reorganization impact

Sir,
The bifurcation of J&K State into two Union Territories in my view, marks a new dawn in our state due to the reason that we have been suffering from discrimination and terrorism due to Art 370 and 35 A provisions for separating the people of our State from rest of the country.
However, there are mixed reactions from the different sections of society. Some people take it as a welcome development while others consider it as an anti- Kashmiri act. Those who take it as a welcome development argue that due to Articles 370 and 35A the people of Jammu and Kashmir state treated themselves as citizens of the state and not of India. It led to reduction in the level of patriotism in the minds of our people. It further added to the problem of terrorism.
Again there is a division of people on the issue of bifurcation of the state into two union territories. Most of the Jammuties hold that the bifurcation of the state into two union territories has brought the State under direct control of the Central Government which in turn would facilitate controlling terrorism. They also maintain that it would facilitate balancing demographic structure of the state which is very important for peace and tranquility in the State.
On the other hand, there are people especially the Kashmiris who are against the bifurcation. They hold that it is totally against their aspirations and rights with the remarks that they have been demanding for freedom and more autonomy have got a totally different result , taking away the little bit of freedom they had .They also hold that it has been done only to disturb the demographic structure of the state.
In view of the debate,it may be said.that the decision is in the best interest of the state , and it will take some time to yield the results. So we must watch and wait for the results for some time. There is nothing to worry about. We should hope for the best.
