MENDHAR, Oct 13: Senior National Conference leader and former MLA, Javed Rana today urged the J&K UT Administration to replenish medical supplies in peripherial hospitals to meet the challenge by COVID-19, stating that non-availability of life saving supplies like oxygen is washing out the entire effort being put in by the concerned medical and para- medical staff.
Addressing party functionaries here today, Javed Rana said that maintenance of oxygen supplies and functional ventilators are main components to fight corona virus besides various other ailments of serious nature. He added that ground realities should be taken into account and effective measures need be taken, that too, on an immediate basis to steer out the hospitals to functional mode instead of remaining in deplorable condition due to deficiencies.
He lauded the COVID-19 warriors, saying that they have emerged as a source of inspiration by remaining steadfast in this fight against the virus. He said the people salute their valour and resilience.
