Srinagar, Feb 18: In the case of issuance of cheques by forging the signature of then Principal, District Institute of Education and Trainings, Kulgam, Division Head Documents, Forensic Science Laboratory, Srinagar has said that the FSL report is complete.
The FSL official said that the report has mentioned that the writing on the cheques and pay-in slips has matched with one of the suspected persons in the case.
“The factual position of the case is that the case was received at Forensic Science Laboratory, Srinagar on 7-12-2012 for handwriting examination and the opinion was submitted to the concerned investigating agency on 21-1-2013,” said Division Head Documents, Forensic Science Laboratory, Srinagar in a communication.
The FSL official further said, “the report forwarded is in no way inconclusive as the concerned expert has tallied the body writings of the cheques and pay-in slips with one of the suspected persons and opinion on the signatures was also furnished.”
