Representatives of various religions appeal people of Valley for peace

KATHUA, July 21: The religious bodies from various faiths today made a joint appeal to the people of Kashmir for restoration of peace in the strife torn Valley.
The appealed was made at a joint press conference here by the representatives of various religions convened under the aegis of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishaw Vidyalaya led by B K Veena Behan incharge Sub Zone Kathua of the Vidyalaya.
The religious heads made a special appeal to their followers in the State in general and Kashmir valley in particular and urged them to come forward in restoration of peace and religious harmony in Kashmir.
The representatives of these religions gave their views that how to bring Kashmir out of present turmoil and restore total peace in the Valley. The speakers while stressing on maintenance of peace and brotherhood said “we are all the creation of one God and all human beings are brothers and sisters so we should work jointly for restoration of peace and brotherhood’’.
Those who were present in the press conference included Sant Swami Ramjeevanji of Radha Krishan Mandir Lakar Sandhe Kathua, Faquir Hussan, Imam Jamia Masjid Police Line Kathua, S Charanjeet Singh, president Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee Kathua, Mohammed Zakir Moulvi Masjid PW Kathua, S Tejinder Singh (retd Principal Kathua), Sanjeevji Pujari Sai Baba Mandir Kathua, Gaytri Sharma, Mahant Asha Poorani Mandir Kathua, Balyogesh Gautam Ji Maharaj, Kathua Sanware Shanti Mandir Housing Colony, S K Vidhi incharge Kathua Sant Nirankari, S Hardev Singh, and B K Veena Behan incharge Sub Zone Kathua.
