Resentment in J&K against BJP for not fulfilling promises: NC

JAMMU, Aug 28: National Conference (NC) State vice president of Women Wing, Bimla Luthra claimed that NC will protect jobs and land rights of permanent residents of J&K if voted to power in upcoming Urban Local Bodies (ULB) elections.
She was addressing NC women workers during a meeting at Katra wherein the meeting was organized by Preety, Provincial joint secretary Women Wing.
Luthra said that presently there is huge resentment among people across J&K against BJP for not fulfilling promises made with people after August 5, 2019.
She flayed the new laws imposed in J&K and anti-people policies adopted by the Government at Centre since August 5, 2019.
The NC leader appealed to the people of J&K to strengthen the hands of Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah in upcoming elections.
Those who were present in the meeting were Jagjeevan Lal, DDC Reasi and District NC president, Reasi; Robin Kumar, Block president Minority Cell, Katra; Ashok Mehta, Block president, Katra; Ram Parkash Suri, Jugal Kishore, Sarpanch and others.
