JAMMU, Nov 11:  Bhai Kanhiya Jee Nishkam Seva Society has expressed great resentment against Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not taking any Sikh member in the Union Cabinet.
In a meeting of the Society held here today under the chairmanship of Mohinder Singh, the speakers expressed serious concern over the non-inclusion of a Sikh member in the Cabinet. They said that Sikh community was hopeful that Modi will  provide a berth in the Cabinet to a Sikh member on expansion on Monday but they were disappointed after the ceremony was over.
They demanded that Sikhs be given representation in the Union Cabinet. Ignoring minorities by BJP will prove counter productive.
Prominent speakers included Avtar Singh Khalsa, Paramjit Singh, Kulwant Singh, Manmohan Singh and Gajan Singh.
