JAMMU, Oct 19: Stressing that the reservation in promotion is the constitutional right of SC/ST and backward communities, Shri Guru Ravi Dass Satsang Society (SGRDSS), RS Pura, strongly criticized the State Government for its luke warm response in defending its position on the issue.
The issue came up for discussion in the one day convention of the Society held today. The speakers asked the community members to get ready to wage a struggle to get their rights. They alleged that the reserved categories have been always targeted by the anti-SC/ST/OBC policies of the Government and anti-reservation groups of the society.
He stressed upon the Government to protect the rights of the reserved categories otherwise people of the community would come out on the roads.
