Resettlement of PoK refugees

Sir,
It is highly unfortunate that over decades have passed, the demand for resettlement of refugees of 1947, 65 and 71 still stands. Who doesn’t know that these refugees had to face hardships, firstly, for saving their souls in the rain of bullets and later on have been suffering for livelihood. It is irony of circumstances that neither the State nor the Central Govts have ever been sincere in feeling the pulse of these displaced persons. No doubt, by the time, many scars have been healed up, but the deep wounds they suffered, in those hard days, are still painful. Inordinate delay since their displacement indicates lack of human sympathies on the part of preceding Govts both at Centre and the State. Undoubtedly, the losses both of moveable and immovable properties they suffered are incalculable and can’t be fully compensated. Since these people are in their third generation. Since then, any further delay would obviously mean injustice towards millions of people still living in sub-standard  life conditions. Hope both the Govts would do the needful to settle their demands speedily and justifiably.
Yours etc….
