RAMBAN, Jan 2: The residential house and two cow sheds were damaged in fire in Gundi Dharam area, falling under the jurisdiction of Sangaldhan Police Post.
As per police sources, a fire broke out in the residential house of Noor Mohammad and Abdul Majeed, sons of Abdul Hamid at Gundi Dharam, which later engulfed the two nearby cow sheds.
On seeing the flames, the locals rushed to the spot and started operation to douse the flames. Later, police team also joined the operation.
After getting information, fire fighters along with fire tenders from Gool Fire Station reached the spot but till then the residential house and cow sheds were completely gutted in fire.
No injury or casualty has been reported in the incident, while the exact loss could not be ascertained yet.
Sangaldhan Police has taken cognizance in this regard and has started investigation to ascertain the cause of the fire.
