SRINAGAR, June 8: A fire broke out in a residential house jointly owned by Showkat Ahmad Sheikh, son of Mohammad Ramzan, Ghulam Nabi Sheikh, son of Ghulam Rasool and Ishfaq Ahmad son of Mohammad Sultan Sheikh at Chowgund in Dooru last evening, police spokesman said.
The house was partially damaged, the spokesman said, adding, it was brought under control as fire tenders were pressed into service.
