RAMBAN, Dec 10: A four storey house was destroyed in a fire incident in Jaman area of Gool late last night.
Sources said that fire broke out in the house of Reyaz Ahmed, son of Hakim Din Shan in Jaman area.
They said that fire spread fast and engulfed the entire house.
On getting information about the incident a fire tender from the nearest Fire Station reached the spot but due to some technical snag the machinery did not work and another fire tender was called to douse the flames but the fire was brought under control till then but not before the house was completely destroyed.
Only a few male members of the family were present in the house when this fire incident took place.
No loss of life or injury to any person was reported in the incident.
Cause of fire was not ascertained till last reports.
Meanwhile, Sub Divisional administration Gool has provided interim relief to the affected family.
