JAMMU, Sept 16: A meeting of Channi Himmat Residents Association was held under the chairmanship of its president V.K Grover in which the members discussed various civic difficulties faced by them.
They expressed deep anguish over poor performance of Housing Board, PHE, PDD and JMC resulting into miseries for the public.
During the meeting, information procured by the Association from these departments under RTI Act was discussed and a serious note was taken for poor performance by these departments.
The members resolved to bring all the matters pertaining to lapses by these departments to the notice of the Governor and his Advisors so that misuse of central as well as State funds could be stopped.
Prominent among those who attended the meeting included Lalit Gupta, Jagdish Bajaj, Rajendra Motilal, Kailash Langer, Advocate K.R Sharma, Raj Kumar Gupta, R.C Nanda, Prof. Naresh Gupta, P.S Mastana, Prof. Lokesh Kumar Verma, Mohan Gupta, B.D Chargotra, B.M Gandotra, Prem Sagar Gupta, V.K Bhushan, Anand Jandial, V.K Ahluwalia, Kuldeepak Sharma, Tilak Raj Gandotra and B.R Abrol.
