JAMMU, Apr 2: The residents of old Janipur held a meeting under the leadership of Kulwant Singh Sambyal and expressed concern over non-maintenance of JDA park.
The residents demanded handing over the old Janipur JDA park to Floriculture Department, install dustbins and benches, fence the park with mesh link fencing, library and drinking water facilities, engagement of a chowkidar and 2 gardners.
They appealed to the concerned authority to intervene in the matter and mitigate the issues related to the park.
Among others present were Jug Mohan Bitu, Brij Mohan Singh, Rajider Sharma, Prabhu Dayal, Sher Singh, Rakesh Singh, etc.
