JAMMU, Oct 7: The residents of Ward Number 44 Nanak Nagar have expressed concern over irregular water supply.
As per handout, Inder Singh Soodan, Councillor, Ward Number 44 Guru Nanak Nagar visited Sector 7, 12 and 13. The residents apprised him about continuous defects in the water pump supplying drinking water. “We suffer due to irregular water supply”, they added.
During visit, the Councillor found various leakage in water supply pipes.
The Councillor approached the AEE several times, but no attention was paid to provide regular drinking water to the residents.
Soodan has requested the concerned authorities to look into the matter and redress it on priority for the benefit of the masses especially those living in Sector 7, 12 and 13 of Ward Number 44, Guru Nanak Nagar Jammu.
