JAMMU, Dec 4: The residents of Taku Check area near Purkhoo Camp today said that the area is without water from last eleven days due to a fault in electric motor installed at the water supply scheme.
It’s been eleven days that the electric motor at the water supply scheme had developed a fault and there is still no sign that the motor has been set right, said Athar Jan, a resident.
Nimesh, another resident of the area said that the people of the area don’t have even drinking water now in their homes due to callous attitude of the concerned staff.
According to the residents, the heads of the concerned department have been communicated for the grievance but nothing positive has come from their side.
They appealed to the concerned department to redress the issue in the shortest possible time.
