RAJOURI, Sept 30: The residents of Thanna Mandi Ward Number 1 MC Begonara held protest against Jal Shakti Department.
A large number of residents assembled and held protest. Carrying empty vessels, the residents blocked the road also in protest against Jal Shakti Department.
While speaking, the protestors said that they are not getting drinking water from the past one week. They showed great displeasure against the working of Jal Shakti Department which has failed to restore the water supply after almost a week.
Locals including Tanveer, Pervaiz Mir, Rashid Khan and others said that how the department which comes under essential services can be so lethargic and careless when thousands of public are suffering badly.
They demanded immediate transfer of such irresponsible and careless public servants who have no interest for the common masses of the area.
Demanding immediate restoration of water supply, the residents dispersed.
