KISHTWAR, Feb 13: Aggrieved over the alignment of Tagood to Vasdevna road, the residents of Vasdevna and adjoining areas today held protest against the authorities.
The protestors alleged that in the alignment of Tagood to Vasdevna road, a children graveyard falls and keeping in view the sentiments of people, the department should change the alignment of the road.
They added that the matter was also brought into the notice of DDC Kishtwar and others, but department and contractor continued work on the same alignment which forced them to come on road and held protest by stopping the construction work.
They said that will continue their protest till their demand is not redressed.
