SAMBA, May 30: The residents of Railway Road Vijaypur met SDM Vijaypur and demanded closure of wine shop.
Large number of residents from Railway Road Vijaypur met SDM Vijaypur and submitted a memorandum demanding closure of wine shop in their area, as it will effect large number of people especially school and college going children.
The residents warned to come on roads if administration failed to take action and order closure of the wine shop immediately.
SDM Vijaypur gave patient hearing to the issue raised by the people and directed Tehsildar Vijaypur, SDPO Vijaypur and TO Vijaypur to ensure appropriate action under rule.
