BHADERWAH, Mar 13: The inhabitants of Radio Station area here held a protest against the Power Development Department (PDD) for its failure to repair the damaged transformer in the locality.
The protesters alleged that the power transformer installed in their area suffered damage some time back but no one form the department came to repair the transformer as a result the people are without power supply for the past over 10 days.
They said that despite repeated requests, the concerned AEE and other staff are not paying any attention towards their plight.
The protestors criticized the working of the PDD and urged the District Administration to direct the concerned officials to repair the transformer otherwise the people will be forced to block the Bhaderwah-Doda road.
