Residents resent construction of Samadhi of Monk

JAMMU, Sept 12: Residents living near Satwari have expressed resentment over construction work of Samadhi of Monk inside temple premises.
As per reports, some residents led by Corporator Pawan Singh assembled inside Shiv temple premises in Ashok Nagar area near Satwari and expressed resentment over construction of Samadhi of Govind Giri Ji Maharaj of Juna Akhara inside temple premises.
Tehsilar was also called on the spot, who stopped the construction work after being told by the residents that Samadhi is being made on disputed land.
Later, Additional Deputy Commissioner and SDM reached the spot and verified the facts.
They ordered for the construction of Samadhi at the same site, where two samadhis already exists.
