JAMMU, Nov 22: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy CM, Kavinder Gupta has asked the JMC Councillors of BJP to lay maximum stress on resolving the issues of people.
Chairing a meeting of Councillors here today where Mayor Chander Mohan Gupta, Deputy Mayor, Purnima Sharma and Vinay Gupta, district BJP president were also present, Kavinder said that Councillors should know all the basic issues of the people and design a joint strategy to mitigate these.
“The Councillors should form a link with the people so that gaps between the administration and the public should be plugged within the shortest possible time,” he said.
Senior BJP functionaries also asked the Councillors to make a log book of all the projects undertaken and other works executed during their tenure as the same are necessary for projecting things while formulating new plans and before going to public.
Kavinder said that information of vaccine camps and number of people inoculated should be kept ready as the same will be of great help in containing the disease in coming times if the situation aggravates again.
He said that the party should be geared up for upcoming polls in the UT as poll dates could be announced anytime as the delimitation process is in its final stages.
Baldev Bloria, Ankush Gupta, Narinder Singh Bunty, Neeraj Puri and others were also present in the meeting.
