Resolve salary issue of Govt teachers: EJAC

JAMMU, Aug 6: Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) has urged upon the State School Education authorities to resolve the issue of salary of the teachers pending for the last several months.
In an emergency meeting of EJAC held under the joint leadership of S. Amrik Singh,  Ganesh Khajuria, Jagdish Sharma and NS Jamwal at Jammu, the members expressed serious concern over the delay being caused by Directorate of School Education Jammu for releasing the pending salaries of the teachers, head teachers, SSA/ RMSA teachers / Masters.   They alleged that even the teachers deputed in various district jails in Udhampur, Kathua, Reasi, Doda  and some other areas are without salaries for want of order/ clarification from the Jammu directorate.
