KISHTWAR, Apr 10: Chinar Power Projects Workers Union (CPPWU) held a meeting under the chairmanship of Joginder Bhandari.
In the meeting, large number of unemployed youths participated and discussed the issue regarding delay into the resumption of work on Rattle Hydro Electric Project at Drabshalla.
While speaking, Chairman of the union said that there is unrest among the unemployed youths of the district on account of growing unemployment and resentment is prevailing among the youths over the long delay into the resumption of the work on the Rattle Hydro Electric Project.
He demanded that the work upon the project should be resumed at an earliest so that the unemployed youths of the district could be able to get employment opportunity in the said project.
The participants threatened to come on road in case the work is not restarted at an earliest.
Among others present were Mohammad Amin Butt, Bashir Khan, Tariq Patri, Anil Sharma, Ghulam Hussain Gannie, Javed Sheikh, Mohammad Ashraf Gannie, Akhter Sheikh, Asgar Ali, Sunil Sharma, Sardar Satpal Singh, Irshad Ahmed, Jaffar Butt, Farooq Dugga, Sajjad Sheikh, Shoket Ahanger, Nissar Ahmed, Rinku Tendulkar, Hafizullah Mattoo, Jaffar Giri, Ram Rattan Sharma, etc.
